My father made ceramic pictures for the monuments and Fred and his brother Sid were his customers for many years. I remember Fred as always coming in to settle his account before the new year. Fred and Sid, I am not sure how well they always got along, but both were warm and charming people. I always enjoyed when either one of them came into my father’s ceramic studio. Ruby Lieberman was another character that I will always remember from those days.
